Hello All!
I hope you are doing well. I have been working hard at decorating for Christmas. I have mentioned before my attraction to shiny things and I have gone full-blown in love with metallic colors this year. When it comes to GOLD during the holidays I believe that you can never have enough. As much as I love holiday decorations, I refuse to spend a lot of money on them. With gifts, food and travel the holidays can be expensive. Today, I will show you how to create an easy DIY beaded Christmas Tree decoration that will look perfect on a mantle or included in your table scape. Guess what?? It doesn’t have to cost much.
DIY Beaded Christmas Tree
I have a collection of gold beads that I have been saving for a project like this.
On a side note, if you have any friends in retail or manufacturing that produce jewelery and accessories, it doesn’t hurt to them to save broken or unneeded pieces for you. That is how I have all these beads. Also, check out thrift stores for costume accessories and necklaces.
I picked up a cardboard cone from a craft store for under $4.00.
With my glue-gun warmed and ready, I attached beads to the cone.
Sometimes projects like this are what I need. I put on a go show, relax and get to work.
An hour later with only minor burns, my beaded Christmas Tree is complete.
I have the perfect place in mind to place this gold bad-boy. You will just have to wait and see where it lands.
XOXO Carmody
I like this. I have a bunch of beads for jewelry making around here somewhere. Perhaps it’s time to dig them out.
These are great! Such an easy project to add to my Christmas decor
