5 Minute Bracelet Redo

Dear Friends,

I sorted through my accessories today and I was a little underwhelmed. Ho Hum!! With an active and sometimes aggressive toddler, earrings are out of the question. I am sure a lot of you know what I am talking about. I really can only wear things that I am OK with him ripping off my body and destroying. I have a cute little bracelet made of clear plastic beads in the shape of stones. I wanted to add some color and some fun to this little bracelet. I had 5 free minutes and devoted them to working on a clear plastic stone bracelet redo.

Materials Used

  • Bracelet in need of a redo (from the bottom of my accessory drawer)
  • painters tape
  • Purple spray-paint

I strategically wrapped painters tape around the beads.

Then, I took it outside and gave it a coat of purple spray paint.

So here is the final result. I have a pretty bracelet that cost nothing to redo.

Processed with VSCOcam with m5 preset5 min 5

When it goes missing in a few weeks, only to show up in a bush in our back yard, I will just give it another redo. What kind of accessories do you have hidden in a drawer that could use a 5 min redo?

That’s a cool idea! A little bit of colours makes a big difference

I love the idea, but I would be afraid of one of my kids grabbing the redo bracelet and chewing on it.
