One of the most important elements in any room is the lighting. You have to see, right? I love lighting because of how much character and feeling it can bring to a space. As you guys know, I have been searching for a new pendant light to hang over my dining room table. We have an open dining room, so I needed something that would tie in my dining room, kitchen and living room. I wanted a something unique, interesting and affordable. Vintage Industrial Lighting
I chose pendant lighting from ParrotUncle.com. This vintage industrial pendant light is currently on sale for $166.57. Once the order was placed, the light arrived in a giant box about a week later. I was surprised that it was in one piece and did not need to be assembled. For some reason, I expected to have an edison bulb included with the light. I picked one up at a local hardware store. I probably would have saved money ordering the light bulb from Parrot Uncle, but I was anxious to use it.
My husband, David, installed the pendant without any problems.
I think the pendant light is gorgeous and unlike a lot of things you buy on the internet, it looked better in person. The black lines of the pendant compliment the black frames in our art. I like that it has an open feel and not obtrusive to the space.
This industrial light is flexible enough to work in a home, retail space, or office. It is larger than it looks, so I would recommend purchasing it for a large room and not a bathroom or porch. I would also use it in a room that had additional lighting sources.
I would totally purchase lights and lighting accessories from Parrot Uncle. They have a ton of different styles for any decor taste. I really loved their wooden pendant lights, but they would not have fit my space as well as the light I chose.
