Hello My Friends!
I love, love, love this time of year. Creepy costumes, decorations and creative pumpkins make it so much fun. Spiders are popular this time of year and like myself, they are also “makers”. In some cultures spiders represent art and cleverness. Today I am going to show you how turn a bag of cheap plastic spiders into a sophisticated, clever and creepy wreath.
DIY Halloween Spider Wreath
My first step with this project was to pick up tiny plastic spiders from the dollar store. You could also use spider rings and cut off the ring part. For the wreath base, I used a chipboard wreath shape that I picked up at a craft store. I painted the chipboard wreath a neon yellow/green paint and plugged in my hot glue-gun.
Now the fun really begins. I arranged my spiders on the wreath and attached them to the wreath with hot-glue.
I continued until I was satisfied with the design. Pretty cool right?
So, what do you think pretty clever for under $5.00 right? Celebrate this Halloween by decorating your door this Halloween with a Spider Wreath.
